Transportation Manager - $30,000 yr

  • Oversees the efficient operation of all warehouse and transportation employees.

Assistant Salvage Manager - $ 24,000 yr

  • Oversees and maintains daily operations of warehouse and employees.
  • Plays active role in developing, overseeing, and maintaining appropriate warehouse safety programs.
  • Maintains the agency’s safety program in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Prepares activity and statistical reports as required.
  • Consults with and maintains regular communication with the Director regarding service audits, budget expenditures and planning, and procurement of equipment and supplies.
  • Supervises staff and establishes effective and efficient routing and scheduling of vehicles for the purposes of assigned store deliveries, ADC distribution and donor pickup.
  • Identify departmental equipment needs and maintenance issues.
  • Refer to and coordinate with the agency’s Director any departmental related facility repairs.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting and timekeeping records as required by the agency’s accounting, human resources and retail offices.
  • Cooperate in preparation of the annual budget and perform within the budget as approved.

  • Oversee and assist with all general facility maintenance and repairs.



General Manager - $30,000 yr

  • Previous Retail Management Experience, at least 3 years.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned retail store.
  • Ensures that all financial paperwork including, but not limited to, sales, production, time cards, logs, inventories, and other assigned work is properly completed and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for security of money including, but not limited to, keeping safe on full lock during store hours, as well as throughout the night, change funds, deposit bags, cash drawers, cashier codes, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers.
  • Manages all retail operations for store location.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Previous cashiering and supervisory experience.

Assistant Managers - $24,000 yr

  • Assists the store manager in the efficient operation of a retail store.
  • Maintains excellent customer relations.
  • Assist store manager with planning for best possible merchandising system, including displays and store promotions.
  • Responsible for meeting daily production quotas.
  • Assist with cash control and related reports.
  • Assist with security and safety of company employees, property and assets.
  • Lead and encourage store work force; when directed, assist with staff training; assign specific duties in absence of manager.
  • Keep store equipment in proper working order. Notify store manager and/or district manager promptly of any defects.
  • Ensures that all financial paperwork including, but not limited to, sales, production, time cards, logs, inventories, and other assigned work is properly completed and in a timely manner in the absence of a store manager.
  • Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.

  • Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers .
  • Quota driven environment: Must consistently meet Quotas to retain employment:
    • Textile quota – Minimum of  600 pieces per processor per shift
    • Hard-line quota –  Minimum of 8 bins per processor per shift
  • Receive items from staging area while maintaining a clean and orderly workstation.
  • Make visual survey to determine: a) type of wares: quality of goods: b) possible safety hazard and, c) any offensive odors. c)
  • Become familiar and follow the Goodwill Industries Guidelines.
  • Sort and place in separate containers items by category as described in Guidelines.
  • Recognize and set aside items that may be collectable or that may have a higher than usual value.
  • Handle merchandise to insure minimal damage. Do not mix items that will result in damage. Packing wares in appropriate manner for store shipment.
  • Set aside seasonal items (Christmas, Halloween, etc.) for warehouse storage.
  • Insure that hazardous items (jagged/broken glass, hypodermic needles, etc.) are properly discarded.

Donation Attendant - $8.00 hr

  • Receive donations from the public, verify and distribute donation receipts to every donor.
  • Help customers unload donations from their vehicle, at all times.
  • Greet the customer who brings the donations cheerfully and be courteous.
  • To minimize damage to goods, take care to load and unload truck in a safe and care-full manner.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene and personal appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Material Handlers - $8.00 hr

  • Sort and segregate product from distributor efficiently and accurately by aisle or section onto pallets or carts for safe transport to sales floor.
  • Safely and efficiently use manual pallet jacks or stacking carts to transport product to the sales floor.
  • Safely, efficiently, and accurately stage product in proper sales area location through out the store.
  • Assist with removal of pallets, overwrites, cardboard, trash from the sales floor and returning to proper location or disposal point in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping of assigned areas.
  • Follow proper procedures for cardboard and waste disposal, safely using equipment such as balers and compactors.
  • Assist with pulling stock for shelf display replenishment from overwrites area or other areas of the warehouse when required.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping of assigned areas.Provide outstanding Customer Service to internal and external customers.



Site Driver - $10.00 hr

  • Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers
  • Operate truck in a safe and professional manner at all times.
  • Back truck into loading areas in a safe and approved manner. Insure truck is safely secured (wheel chocks) at all times when loading or unloading.
  • Receive donations from the public, verify and distribute donation receipts to every donor.
  • Help customers unload donations from their vehicle, at all times.
  • Greet the customer who brings the donations cheerfully and be courteous.
  • To minimize damage to goods, take care to load and unload truck in a safe and care-full manner.
  • Unload all goods from truck at the plant. Store all goods in an orderly manner at designated areas in the backyard or in the warehouse.
  • Report any and all incidents or accidents as soon as possible to supervisor.
  • Accurately maintain drivers log, time cards, and other required paper work.
  • Inspect vehicle condition on a daily basis. Report any needed repairs.
  • Insure that cell phones are working and with you at all times during working hours.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized and safe vehicle at all times.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene and personal appearance at all times.
  • Must notify supervisor if a problem arises with your license, within 24 hrs.
